In 1977
The « Ages » association in France, created at the initiative of
the “Caisse des Depôts et Consignations”, the “CNRS” and the
“Fondation de France” becomes EGEE:
In 1982
EGEE becomes independent and obtains financial support from the
Ministry of Crafts, Trade, Industry and DATAR.
EGEE operations costs are funded by the National Agency for
Enterprise Creation (ANCE).
1 138 Senior Experts are operating throughout France.
EGEE today
Under socio-economic volunteering, EGEE recruits each year new
members, diversifies its activities, adapts to the economic
environment by supporting many structures in their actions: new
business creators, communities and public institutions,
associations, schools and universities, Small and Medium size
companies…

EGEE is a member of CESES, "Confederation of European Senior
Expert Services", an organization grouping 25 associations of
senior experts in 17 countries of the European Union, totaling
24 000 high level experts from all sectors of the industry.
